The following country profiles based on the study of primary legislative sources outline the current status of legislation on women’s economic autonomy and empowerment in each of the 22 Ibero-American countries. They highlight the main international gender equality conventions ratified by each country, as well as the progress made and challenges to overcome in priority areas for women’s economic empowerment. In addition, a reform agenda and an annexe of legislative texts for each country analysed are provided as downloadable files.
